Competition Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Flare Athletics UK ("Flare", "we", "us"). This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Meta, The Summit, Youth Summit, The Cheerleading Worlds, The Dance Worlds, ASW or their respective organisers.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to UK-based cheerleading teams that are attending The Cheerleading Worlds, The Dance Worlds, The Summit, Youth Summit or ASW in 2027. Entries should be submitted by an authorised adult representative of the team or gym who is aged 18 or over. The winning team may be required to provide reasonable evidence confirming its qualification/registration or intended attendance at the relevant 2027 event before the prize is confirmed.
3. How to enter
To submit a valid entry, the entrant must:
- Follow @flareathleticsuk on Instagram.
- Like and save the competition post.
- Tag their team or gym once only in the comments of the competition post.
- Share the competition post to their Instagram Story and tag @flareathleticsuk. If the entrant's account is private, Flare may request evidence of the Story share.
- Complete and submit the official competition entry form on the Flare Athletics UK website before the closing date.
Only one official entry may be submitted per team. Multiple athletes, parents or supporters commenting repeatedly on behalf of the same team will not provide additional entries or improve that team's chances of being selected. Duplicate website submissions may be disregarded.
4. Entry period
The competition opens on 18 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm UK time on 30 September 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.
5. The prize
One winning team will receive: Up to 22 bespoke Flare Athletics UK training sets for the team's athletes. The training sets will be designed in consultation with the winning team and Flare Athletics UK. The final design, fabrics, colours, embellishments, rhinestones, branding, garment construction and other design elements are subject to manufacturing feasibility and approval by Flare Athletics UK.
The prize covers a maximum of 22 complete training sets. If the winning team requires more than 22 sets, additional matching sets may be available to purchase separately, subject to availability, manufacturing capability and an agreed price. The prize does not include cash, travel, accommodation, competition entry fees or any other expenses associated with attending Worlds/Summit. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for other Flare products or credit.
6. Choosing the winning team
This is a judged competition and not a random prize draw. Eligible entries will be reviewed by Flare Athletics UK following the closing date. The winning team will be selected taking into consideration the information provided within its application, including its story, journey to Worlds/Summit, team spirit and the reasons given for why the team would like Flare Athletics UK to be part of its journey. The number of followers, likes, comments or tags a team receives will not determine the winner. Flare Athletics UK's decision will be final.
7. Winner notification
The successful team will be contacted using the contact information supplied on the official entry form and/or through its nominated Instagram account. The winner must respond within 7 days of notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, cannot provide evidence of eligibility where reasonably requested, or is unable to accept the prize, Flare Athletics UK reserves the right to select another eligible team. The winning team will be announced publicly only after eligibility and acceptance of the prize have been confirmed.
8. Design and production
The winning team agrees to cooperate reasonably with Flare Athletics UK in relation to sizing, design approval and production. All athlete sizes and other information requested by Flare must be supplied by the deadline provided. Production and delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside Flare Athletics UK's reasonable control. Flare will make reasonable efforts to supply the winning team's training wear in accordance with the agreed production schedule but cannot guarantee delivery by a particular competition or travel date where delays arise outside its reasonable control.
9. Publicity and content
Participation in the competition does not automatically give Flare Athletics UK permission to use photographs or videos of individual athletes for marketing purposes. Where the winning team and/or its athletes are invited to participate in promotional photography, video or social-media content, any necessary permissions or parental/guardian consent for athletes under 18 will be obtained separately as appropriate. Flare may announce the name of the winning team/gym and the fact that it has won the competition, subject to applicable law.
10. Personal information
Information submitted through the competition form will be used to administer the competition, assess entries and contact entrants regarding the competition. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Flare Athletics UK's Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law. Entrants should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information about individual athletes. Marketing communications will only be sent where there is an appropriate lawful basis to do so.
11. Fair participation
Flare Athletics UK reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, incomplete, submitted using false information, breach these Terms & Conditions or attempt to manipulate the competition. Flare may also disregard duplicate or excessive Instagram comments intended to create additional entries.
12. Changes or cancellation
If circumstances outside Flare Athletics UK's reasonable control make it necessary to do so, Flare reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition, provided that entrants are treated fairly and any changes are communicated appropriately.
13. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
